Pax Autocratica Beginner Guide
Treat the colony and the battlefield as one economy: repair and staff the base, research deliberately, craft what your next expedition needs, then bring resources and captives home. Follow the guided objectives before optimizing systems the game has not yet explained.
Open briefing →StartPax Autocratica Gameplay Loop Explained
Build and staff a colony, turn its output into field supplies, choose an expedition, fight beside your troops, collect Cores and resources, capture weakened enemies, then return to expand the state. Neither half is a side mode; each supplies the other.
Open briefing →StartPax Autocratica Demo vs Prologue vs Early Access
The Prologue was a free standalone slice centered on Sector One, Elysia, but its Steam listing now says it is no longer available. The paid Early Access game launched August 10 with a larger colony, more content, and the full colony-to-combat loop.
Open briefing →StartPax Autocratica Fake Guide Warning
Pax Autocratica is a real-time colony sim plus first-person roguelite combat. Current official sources do not support turns, GDP, tax rates, elections, a senate, Roman provinces, Agrarian/Industrialist factions, aqueducts, or published cheat-console commands.
Open briefing →ColonyPax Autocratica Base Building Guide
The base is a staffed production network, not a passive menu. Citizens mine, gather, haul, research, and manufacture; buildings provide jobs, storage, research, crafting, food, housing, military organization, and prisoner handling.
Open briefing →ColonyPax Autocratica Resource Transport Station Guide
The Resource Transport Station centralizes resources that would otherwise remain scattered after base work. Staff it, then distinguish collection from production: a workshop can be configured correctly and still stop if gathered inputs never reach storage.
Open briefing →ColonyPax Autocratica Production Automation
After building the Warehouse, Order Mode makes a fixed quantity, Stock Mode maintains a minimum reserve, and Auto Mode produces continuously whenever inputs are available. Match the mode to the job instead of setting every recipe to Auto.
Open briefing →ColonyPax Autocratica Food and Colony Automation Guide
Automate food as a chain, not a single recipe: secure ingredients, keep workers assigned, transport gathered output, use Stock Mode for a meal reserve, and verify that seed or greenhouse inputs are actually replenished instead of assuming a closed loop.
Open briefing →ColonyPax Autocratica Resources Guide
Resources enter through base jobs and expeditions, move through transport and storage, then become research, buildings, equipment, food, ammunition, and field supplies. The official record names CredChips, Alloy, Modules, Reactors, wood, and special materials, but does not publish a complete current recipe database.
Open briefing →ColonyPax Autocratica Policies and Citizen Management
Policies and living conditions shape citizens through comfort, prosperity, fear, propaganda, surveillance, and punishment. Citizens can become grateful, afraid, loyal, or rebellious. This is a continuous colony simulation—not a turn-based senate or tax spreadsheet.
Open briefing →ColonyPax Autocratica Soldier Upgrades, Rarity, Traits, and Buffs
Soldiers improve through rarity/upgrades, traits, colony systems, and player-wide progression rather than individual equipment loadouts. AG-12 reduced upgrade point requirements, but the developer did not publish the new values.
Open briefing →ColonyPax Autocratica Soldier Aging, Exile, and Upgrades
AG-12 added a Soldier Aging toggle that can be changed at any time: enabled soldiers age and can decline late in life; disabled soldiers remain at peak condition. The same update added Exile for removing low-contribution soldiers and reduced upgrade point requirements.
Open briefing →FrontierPax Autocratica Combat and Ammo Guide
Fight with your squad, watch telegraphs and damage feedback, use weak points, and treat ammunition as a managed combat resource. Official updates confirm melee kills can force ammo drops; ammo and grenade drop rates have changed repeatedly, so old farming numbers are unsafe.
Open briefing →FrontierHow to Capture Enemies and Use Capture Rounds
Capture is a separate objective from killing: weaken a valid target, switch to the capture ammunition or action exposed by the current interface, and complete the attempt before the target dies. If the capture control disappears, first check ammunition, target eligibility, and current mission state.
Open briefing →FrontierHow Capture, Prison, and Conversion Work in Pax Autocratica
Weaken a valid enemy, switch to the game's capture method, and complete the capture before returning to base. Captured enemies enter the prison workflow, where the regime can pressure, convert, punish, execute, or use them in soldier progression. Conversion V2 is planned, so old behavior may change.
Open briefing →FrontierPax Autocratica Expeditions
Withdraw when the run's new value no longer justifies the chance of losing momentum; finish when your squad and colony can absorb the next progression step; keep farming only while the current area still returns materials, blueprints, Cores, or captives you actually need.
Open briefing →FrontierHow to Prepare for Sector 2 in Pax Autocratica
Do not solve Sector 2 with one ‘best gun.’ Stabilize repeatable food and ammunition, field soldiers with complementary roles, improve current equipment and blueprints, then use shorter expeditions to learn new threats and secure the next material tier.
Open briefing →FrontierPax Autocratica Cores Guide
Core Fragments are run-based upgrade choices. Weapon Cores reshape gun behavior, Combination Cores link sets into synergies, and other Cores can strengthen soldiers or turn them into protective resources. Current official notes name several Cores, but not a complete tier list or stable damage table.
Open briefing →FrontierPax Autocratica Weapons
Official sources confirm pistols, assault rifles, SMGs, shotguns, bow-style weapons, grenades, Capture Rounds, and weapon-specific Cores. Choose by mission, ammunition flow, squad role, and Core synergy—not by fabricated damage charts.
Open briefing →Current intelPax Autocratica Patch Notes
The latest official maintenance post is AG-12 from August 12, 2026. Steam's public data shows build 24690937 shortly after the post, but the developer has not published a semantic version or explicitly mapped that build number to AG-12.
Open briefing →Current intelPax Autocratica Roadmap
The launch roadmap plans deeper prisoner and soldier relationships, colony crises, more progression and income sources, Steam achievements, online co-op, and two more sectors with new combat and colony content. It gives no dates and may change with feedback.
Open briefing →Current intelPax Autocratica Known Issues
The only issue explicitly left in the AG-12 announcement is the <kbd>V</kbd> battle-stats shortcut not opening its interface properly. Many launch problems were fixed on August 11–12; community reports are signals, not confirmed diagnoses.
Open briefing →Current intelPax Autocratica Save Backups and Recovery
AG-12 added automatic save backups so earlier saves are preserved after crashes, freezes, blue screens, or similar interruptions. The developer has not published backup count, retention time, or one universal manual restore procedure.
Open briefing →SupportPax Autocratica Troubleshooting
Update first, restart Steam, verify the game's files, and test without unsupported overlays or old workarounds. Then compare the symptom with AG-12's fixed list and current known issues before changing save or configuration files.
Open briefing →SupportPax Autocratica System Requirements and PC Support
The official minimum calls for Windows 10 64-bit, an i5-8600 or Ryzen 5 1600X, 16 GB RAM, DirectX 11, 40 GB storage, and a GTX 1060 6 GB / RX 480 for 1080p. Recommended raises CPU and GPU targets while keeping 16 GB RAM and 40 GB storage.
Open briefing →SupportPax Autocratica Release Date, Price, Platforms, and Languages
Pax Autocratica entered Early Access on Steam for Windows PC on August 10, 2026. The announced launch price was $29.99 / €29.99 / £24.99 / ¥108, with a 17% discount for the first two weeks.
Open briefing →SupportPax Autocratica FAQ
