The loop in eight moves
| Phase | What you do | What it feeds |
|---|---|---|
| 1 · Govern | Set policies and shape citizen conditions. | Loyalty, fear, gratitude, dissent, and labor conditions. |
| 2 · Build | Repair or add production, storage, research, housing, and military infrastructure. | Capacity and new options. |
| 3 · Assign | Put citizens or soldiers into mining, gathering, hauling, research, and manufacturing jobs. | Materials, knowledge, and equipment. |
| 4 · Equip | Craft weapons, armor, food, ammunition, and supplies. | A field-ready Leader and squad. |
| 5 · Explore | Travel through the Tyris System and choose encounters. | Resources, merchants, recruits, and threats. |
| 6 · Fight | Lead troops in first-person roguelite battles. | Blueprints, Core Fragments, and progression. |
| 7 · Capture | Weaken enemies and use capture systems. | Prisoners who may be converted, punished, or used in progression systems. |
| 8 · Return | Bring the results back to the colony. | The next, stronger cycle. |
Why old descriptions can mislead
The game was previously known as Earth From Another Sun, and Steam Community still contains older material. The current official description is a totalitarian colony sim plus first-person roguelite combat. A guide that calls it a turn-based political grand strategy game is not describing the released Early Access loop.
Where Early Access can still change
The launch roadmap says more colony and combat content, new sectors, new battlefields, more weapons, more Cores, new buildings, and online co-op are planned. The roadmap gives no dates and explicitly allows the content and order to change with feedback.
